William Muyuku is a Canadian media entrepreneur, producer, and communicator who builds bridges between Canada and Africa through storytelling, trade, and cultural exchange.

Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, William moved to Montreal, Quebec in 2007 where he pursued studies in cinema, communication, and art history. Immersed in Canada’s multicultural environment, he quickly became involved in community initiatives and media associations, sharpening his skills in video production, editing, and storytelling across multiple platforms.

Driven by a passion to reshape narratives around Africa and its diaspora, William founded his first production company, POINTIMAGE, in 2002. Building on that foundation, he launched AfriqueCanada.TV in 2009 to elevate African voices and showcase the contributions of cultural diversity in Canada.

Today, William is the founder and CEO of two  Toronto-based companies:
– AfriCanada Stream, a media platform promoting Canadian communities, businesses, and trade relationships with Africa.
Watu Entertainment Inc., a creative production company focused on original, multilingual storytelling and diaspora content.

Fluent in French, English, and Swahili, William covers events and produces content that connects institutions, entrepreneurs, and communities. His work spans political forums, business summits, cultural events, and public affairs, always centered on promoting trade, investment, and collaboration between Canada and Africa.

With over two decades of experience and a reputation for excellence, William Muyuku is more than a storyteller; he is a builder of networks, a promoter of truth, and a champion of opportunity across continents.
